How You Can Help There is a way each person can share their gifts with the Hope Pregnancy Center. Because of the size of our ministry, we need people and resources in many areas. Here is a list to get you started. If you have any ideas not on this list, please contact Rog Hill. Volunteers - There are several areas where we can use volunteers. Volunteers are truly the life of our center! *The most common is client counseling. This requires many hours of training and a set rotation of no less than twice a month, but the benefits are endless. This is one of the most fulfilling callings you will ever be a part of. You will be one on one sharing love, grace and encouragement to these women and their unborn children. A ministry experience like no other! The nurse will go through extensive sonographer training and become certified to our Center’s standards. She must be an RN who is currently licensed in the state of Tennessee. This volunteer will perform limited ultrasounds on clients and provide a “window into the womb” to help these often-times frightened mothers face the reality of their pregnancies and minister to their needs at this point. The new director has big plans and we are hanging on tight for God to take us on the ride of our lives! Our center can not run without people volunteering in this vital role. We need help with computers, mailings, input; the list goes on and on! Church Liaisons - Would you like to bridge the gap between our Center and your church? You would be working with the staff to promote awareness and Center events at your local church! Financial - Obviously, all of these vital ministries we provide involve finances. Our center is funded solely by donors just like you, some giving much and some giving little, all coming together to build a budget that the Lord has allowed us to use to reach thousands in Clarksville! If you would like to become a donor there are two options. How you can financially give: Check by mail: Finally, WE NEED LOTS OF STUFF day in and day out to keep this Center running! Would your Sunday School or Small Group like to take a supply list and bless the center with paper, pens and a whole lot more or adopt a parenting class to supply car seats, welcome basket items, etc.? If so please contact Kelly. Also, if your career opens a door for items to be donated we would love to work with you, especially items related to the medical field. Our supply list can be very expensive so every dollar saved is a dollar earned! We are also looking for computers, DVD players and printers that are no more than 3 years old |
